Our hikes are designed to be educationally enhanced, environmentally aware, and safety-conscious. We believe that teaching and helping others explore safely with an emphasis on stewardship strengthens our community and helps protect our limited natural resources.

What exactly is a social impact business?

Simply put, it’s a for-profit business with the same goals as a non-profit. We exist to provide much-needed support for large-scale societal issues, such as environmental, mental health, and animal welfare concerns. A social impact business integrates itself within their community, parsing out problems and looking for ways to help solve those issues. Unlike non-profits, social impact businesses are not constrained to the limits of grants, allowing them to allocate their resources and time to various pressing issues in the community.

How does our business make a difference?

To honor our commitment to being a social impact business, we donate a portion of each hike’s revenue to our guide’s preferred non-profit. Several non-profits we donate to include:

• Tri-Lakes YMCA

• Guardians of Palmer Park

• Big City Mountaineers

• Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center at the Mark Reyner Stables in Palmer Park
