My Summer Internship Experience with Hike for Life

This past summer, I was given the wonderful opportunity to be the Social Media and Marketing Intern at Hike For Life. Despite the ongoing global pandemic, my internship experienced chalked up to be a wonderful learning experience for me, helping me refine my interests academically, as well as learn a whole new area of business (Social Impact) I had never even heard of before! (More on what a social impact business is, and what it means for HFL, in a future blog post).

Although I will still be working part-time for Hike For Life for at least the next year, I figured I would share my official “internship” experience with anyone who may wish to explore my story, and what I was working on, these past few months. I currently attend Colorado College, and as part of my school’s internship requirements, I had to complete a StoryMap, which is essentially a webpage detailing my experience at my summer internship.
