Enjoy a popular four-season hike with unique rock formations, astonishing views and subalpine zone vegetation; including Blue Spruce, Limber Pine, and Aspen trees. You will appreciate the challenge and rewards of hiking at higher elevations without the extra stress of trying to summit a fourteener!  This is also a great hike if you also want to explore Cripple Creek.

“6-5-19 Absolute beautiful day for this hike! There is a nice mix of sun and shade. The start of the climb to the summit gets steep but it's not terrible by any means. The summit offers beautiful 360 views of the surrounding areas. It was heavily trafficked with a children’s summer day camp program but they didn’t go to the summit. The parking lot was full when we started at about 11. Most of the dogs on the trail were on a leash.”

“Highly recommend this trail. About an hour and a half from downtown Denver, 30 minutes from Colorado Springs. It’s quiet, has beautiful views, and isn’t too hard so you can enjoy your drive back to town.“
